Spring 2008 update
So far, we have planted about 50 trees in our area, some are quite small, some are larger and now coming into leaf for the first time in their new home.

Some bushes and shrubs have been planted around the outside along the fence and in a few years will cover the fences nicely.

The pond is full, has several 'marginals' plantes around the edge, and is full of tadpoles. With few natural preditors in the pond, they are doing very well indeed!

During the Summer term, planters are being made and will be in place shortly. These will be used by the year groups to plant and grow their own vegtables, herbs, and plants.

It is clear to everyone that this is a long term project, and will take many years of dedication from the staff and children to allow this area to grow, evolve and be a fantastic educational environment!

Many thanks to the PFA for their fundraising, without whom this project would be much more difficult!
